CASI stands for the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors. Internationally recognized, a Level 1 instructor certificate from CASI is a great first step to beginning a snowsports career, the Level 2 is a significant next step, and the Level 3 requires serious investment in time both training and teaching. Facilitated by internationally recognized CASI Instructor Trainers, we have certified hundreds if not thousands of instructors here in Evergreen, Hakuba - you could be next!

CASI LEVEL 1 SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE
You should take this course if you love to snowboard, and have a desire to introduce new students to snowboarding. You should be confident and comfortable both communicating and demonstrating in front of a group.

You should take this course if you love to snowboard, and have a desire to introduce new students to snowboarding. You should be confident and comfortable both communicating and demonstrating in front of a group. We have courses available with Mandarin or Cantonese translators!

You should take this course if you are a Level 1 Instructor with some teaching experience, love to teach, and have a desire to take your teaching skills to the next level. You should be confident and comfortable demonstrating intermediate to advanced riding in corresponding terrain.

CASI LEVEL 3 SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE
You should take this course if you are an advanced snowboarder who has passed the Level 2 certification, and are an interested in teaching advanced students and begin to train other instructors. The goal of the Level 3 course is to develop a skills-based and situational teaching approach for high-level snowboarding. Also, an understanding of CASI technique and methodology and an introduction to instructor training will be developed. It combines practical snowboard teaching methods, technical understanding and development, as well as development of analysis and session planning skills.

You should take this course if you are a Level 1 instructor with a love of freestyle snowboarding. You should have a desire to introduce new students to snowboarding in the park safely and successfully. You should also be confident and comfortable both communicating and demonstrating in front of a group.

Re-Test Exams
As we aim to create good professionals and develop the snowsports industry, we have create a big program for re-test exams for Level 1 & Level 2 CASI courses.
Requirements
Retest dates will be allocated the last date of the scheduled courses and it will be available to join only if there are spots available in the course one week prior the course starts. Any participant willing to join in the full course will have booking priority.
Only request will be accepted, without confirmed until one week before starts.
